Michelle’s team is responsible for defining technology strategies & delivering solutions supporting Legal, Corporate Audit, & Enterprise Data Management in her role as the CSWT Data Quality Control Executive (DQCE). Michelle’s organization also drives adoption of Information & Service Architecture best practices & Data Protection & Privacy capabilities which ensure systems adhere to Bank of America’s Enterprise Data Protection & Data Management standards.
Michelle joined Bank of America in 2012 as a Senior Information Architect Manager. Prior to joining the Bank, Michelle was the CIO for Partners Imaging, a privately held medical imaging services company in Dallas, Texas. She has also held IT Director positions at several companies including Affiliated Computer Systems (ACS) in Dallas, Texas & Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance in Charlotte, NC. Michelle’s career has included work as an IT Consultant with Ernst Young as well as technology positions in healthcare, financial services & transportation industries. Michelle was promoted to Senior Technology Executive in 2015.
Michelle has a degree in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University. Michelle lives in Richardson, Texas where she is the Executive Sponsor of the North Texas chapter of Women in Technology & Operations (WIT&O) and Executive Sponsor for the Girls Who Code Summer Immersion program. She is also a member of the Hispanic Latino Executive Council (HLEC) and the North Texas Hispanic Latino Advisory Council (HLAC) leading the Talent Development work stream. She is a member of several Bank of America employee networks including Leadership, Education, Advocacy & Development (LEAD) for Women, the Hispanic/Latino Organization for Leadership & Advancement (HOLA), My Environment, & the Inter-Generational Employee Network (IGEN). Michelle has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Hispanic IT Executives by HITEC and was featured in Hispanic Executive Magazine in 2020 as a Leading Latina.
