VP and Chief Counsel, Americas PGIM Real Estate
Ernie Ceberio is a vice president and chief counsel, Americas for PGIM Real Estate, a top three global real estate investment manager. Based in Madison, New Jersey, Ernie is responsible for overseeing legal affairs in the United States and Latin America. Ernie has over a decade of experience leading in-house legal teams. Most recently, Ernie led a team in Prudential’s Retirement business overseeing two divisions with $10+ billion in annual revenue. He has also served as Deputy Chief Legal Officer for PGIM Real Estate overseeing legal affairs in Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.
Before joining Prudential, Ernie worked at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, where he represented private equity and venture capital fund sponsors and portfolio companies on fund formation, mergers and acquisitions, and securities law matters. Ernie has a B.A. from Vassar College and a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. Ernie currently serves on the Board of LatinoJustice/PRLDEF, a national civil rights organization. He is a former member of the Board of the Vassar College Alumni Association. He is fluent in Spanish.
